Taunton and its surrounding area has a good record of economic growth and consequently low unemployment. The town has been granted Principal Urban Status, which is good news for its future development.

Being the regional centre for government and public administration there are many career and job opportunities, for example Somerset County Council is the largest employer in the area. The central location of Aspect and Taunton’s compact size make the commuting misery of some large cities almost a thing of the past for those lucky enough to work nearby.

The Aspect apartments are really well placed for anyone wanting to enjoy all that Taunton has to offer. There are many cafes and bars within easy walking distance. Together with pubs, clubs and restaurants, Taunton offers a wide range from takeaways to up-market venues.

Immediately behind the development is Bath Place, one of Taunton’s most fascinating shopping areas, with an interesting mix of small shops and cafes. Taunton has a theatre, a multiplex cinema and in the summer there are live concerts in the park. This part of the West Country is famously beautiful and it is well placed for access to both the north Devon surfing beaches, Exmoor and the south coast resorts.
